Sensitivity of Microwave Interferometer in the Limiter Shadow to filaments in <scp>ASDEX</scp> upgrade

Microwave Interferometer in the Limiter Shadow (MILS) is a new diagnostic, installed on ASDEX Upgrade for electron density measurements far Scrape-Off Layer (SOL). At chosen frequency of 47 GHz, region varies within several centimetres before and after limiter, depending density. 200 kHz bandwidth allows resolving transient events such as edge localized modes filaments turbulence filaments. The measured quantities, phase shift, power decay microwave beam, which crosses plasma, are directly connected to do not depend any other plasma quantity. In this work, we analyse influence filamentary perturbation MILS signals. Simple representation filament adopted, with parameters relevant experimental properties, reported Upgrade. Forward modelling done COMSOL software by using RAPLICASOL, study response synthetic diagnostic presence filament.
